The Diamond series is the flagship of TAGA Harmony’s speaker lineup. • 2nd generation STLIE-I cabinet (Super Taga Low Interference Enclosures) with a more robust structure and thicker MDF walls (up to 93 mm in some areas) to minimize unwanted resonances. The curved side panels and arched top help reduce unwanted vibrations, diffraction, turbulence, and standing waves. The cabinet is firmly anchored to a sturdy rear spine beam and an internal reinforcement plate, significantly strengthening the entire construction. The cabinet is rear-tilted to time-align all drivers and further reduce unwanted resonances and turbulence.
• Magnetically mounted grille provides a sleeker appearance and reduces distortion when the grille is removed.
• High-quality damping material inside the cabinet breaks up standing waves, reduces resonances and distortion, improving sound smoothness and character across all frequency ranges.
• Elegant feet and spikes are extremely sturdy and thick to provide near-perfect isolation from the floor, increase sound transparency, and deliver better definition and control in the bass. They add extra elegance to the Diamond speakers and their modern yet timeless look.
• High-quality genuine wood veneer – durable, elegant wood veneer lacquered in a glossy or matte finish.
• Low-turbulence, high-velocity bass reflex port for enhanced dispersion of low frequencies.
• 2nd generation 36 mm O-TPTTD-I tweeter (Oversized Taga Pure Titanium Tweeter Dome) with a lightweight titanium dome offers high power handling and very precise, clear, smooth, and detailed sound. Ferrofluid-cooled voice coil with 28 mm CCAW and silver wire plus dual magnets (Φ80 & Φ70) enable the tweeter to handle high power. Exceptional precision and extended high-frequency response up to 33 kHz (+/- 3dB).
• E-TPAF front plate (Enlarged Taga Pure Aluminum Faceplate) and metal mesh contribute to even and flat sound dispersion both on and off the driver axis. Minimal components provide better structural rigidity, lower distortion, and resonances.
• 3rd generation 165 mm TPACD-II midrange driver (Taga Pure Aluminum Cone Driver) with a stiff and ultra-light aluminum cone, aluminum chassis, and an over-spec’d dual magnet structure (Φ100/Φ90). Fast and frequent movement delivers a rich, spacious, and pleasant midrange.
• 2nd generation 165 mm TNPPCD-I bass driver (Taga Non-pressed Paper Cone Driver) with dual over-spec’d magnets and aluminum chassis. Extremely stiff and vibration-free construction with a powerful 2-layer CCAW voice coil for high power handling. Offers deep, precise, and detailed bass performance. Larger surface area for air movement allows sound to be played at higher levels.
• Precise crossover filter with a minimal number of high-quality components in the high-pass and low-pass filters for optimal neutrality, high power handling, and maximum accuracy.
• Internal cables of 2.5mm2 multi-stranded oxygen-free copper with high purity ensure the signal from the amplifier to the drivers does not lose important details.
• High-quality connection terminals accept raw speaker cables up to 6mm2 and most types of connectors. Support for bi-wiring and bi-amping for flexibility.
