Well, the short answer is that the newcomer is significantly better than Quadrax and is thus also much closer to Sword in performance... Here, there is an effortless musicality but also a calmness and control that is glaringly absent in the cheaper Quadrax cable. This is noticeable across all registers but especially in the bass, which is tightened up incredibly in comparison and is very close to Sword. Quadrax has of course not gotten worse since last time, but with the new XL Annorum, you get all the qualities of the cheaper cable, but so infinitely much more on top of that."
