The Supra SubLink XLR-RCA is intended for connecting single-ended devices, such as a receiver, to active subwoofers or studio monitors. This cable has an XLR female connector, which is intended for the source end - for example from a bioprocessor or a preamp, where the RCA end is then connected to a subwoofer or power amp.
Note that this is a single cable intended for an analog signal, for example to a subwoofer. If you want to connect a home theater preamp with 5 channels to a power amp with 5 channels, you need to buy 5 cables.
