Supra DAC is a high-performance 110 Ohm signal cable perfect for analog and digital applications in HiFi systems or professional studios. This balanced stereo cable excels with its extremely fast signal transmission – up to 78% of the speed of light – thanks to an innovative design with gas-blown (foamed) PE insulation containing air, the optimal insulator.
Compared to many high-end cables with Teflon insulation (which reach 71% of the speed of light), Supra DAC slows the signal less, providing a lively music experience with preserved timing, transient response, and spatial information.

• Fast and transparent transmission: With a very low capacitance of only 45 pF/m and high bandwidth, the cable’s impact on the signal is minimized. In digital applications (such as AES/EBU), it maintains the sharpness of the binary square signal, making it easy for the receiver to distinguish ones and zeros. In analog contexts, it offers excellent transient response – that is, quick reaction to high-frequency overtones – for faithful reproduction of the music’s attack, phrasing, tempo, and spatial experience. Transients like drum hits, cymbal crashes, or piano keys feel lively and dynamic, without the music becoming lifeless or drawn out.
  
• High interference resistance: The unique semiconductive nylon shield (reinforced carbon fiber weave instead of traditional aluminum foil) offers 100% coverage and extremely high protection against interference. The shield is in constant contact with a tin-plated bi-conductor for effective grounding of interference, which is critical for longer cables in environments with electromagnetic stress.
  
• Flexible and durable: The cable is incredibly bend-resistant and tough thanks to the reinforced nylon shield, making it more flexible and strong than conventional cables – perfect for installations where strain occurs.
  
• Multifunctional design: Suitable for analog signal transmission via RCA or XLR, but especially optimized for digital balanced AES/EBU XLR connection where 110 Ohm impedance is crucial.

Supra DAC is made in Sweden and represents top quality through both measurements and listening tests. Low capacitance is key for low-level cables – whether analog or digital – as it avoids bottlenecks for varying voltages, especially at high frequencies. Recommended connectors: Supra RCA-6, RCA-6SC, PPX, PPSL, or Swift XLR for optimal performance.

Construction:

• Conductors: 2 x tin-plated OFC copper (5N purity), 19 x 0.127 mm, area 2 x 0.24 mm² / AWG 23. The conductors are twisted and insulated with blue and red foamed PE for minimal capacitance.
  
• Shield and reinforcement: Semiconductive nylon tape (carbon fiber weave) with 100% coverage, connected to tin-plated bi-conductor (19 x 0.127 mm). Cotton filler for extra stability.
  
• Jacket: PVC GA78, round with nominal wall thickness 2 mm. Diameter approx. 6.1 mm, color ice blue (other colors available on request). Marking: "SUPRA DAC > Made in Sweden > Meter marking".
