Supra Cat 8 is ideally used in TCP/IP and UDP applications where correct data flow is very important and the time to retransmit lost bit packets is limited, for example 4K and 8K video streaming, highly oversampled and high-resolution music, computer games, data centers, and installation of modern networks in workplaces, public venues, hotels, and conference facilities, among others. With its very high bandwidth, lagging video conferences and the latest level of high-resolution film, games, and video are avoided.

Supra Cat 8 is built with double shielding instead of single shielding to avoid interference and data loss. Furthermore, its larger conductor area is especially suitable for PoE (Power over Ethernet) with its lower loss and voltage drop.
