NuPrime Stream-9 is a reference-class streaming device with Wi-Fi capability of 24-bit/192kHz and Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD streaming. Stream-9 has multiple digital outputs for connection to an external DAC. It supports all major online streaming services, Bluetooth 5.0 (aptX HD), DLNA networks, and AirPlay 2 streaming. An optional sample rate converter (SRC) samples the streaming source music to a higher sample rate (up to PCM 24-bit/768 kHz and DSD256) with ultra-low jitter and distortion.

NuPrime's proprietary SRC chip (Sampling Rate Converter), linear power supply and low noise power circuit, along with other audiophile quality components, enable the STREAM-9 to achieve world-class performance.
The sampling frequency for all digital inputs, including streaming, can be converted up or down between PCM and DSD, from 44.1 kHz to 768 kHz or DSD64 to DSD255.
The conversion is achieved by upsampling to megahertz before downconverting to the desired sampling frequency with ultra-low jitter and distortion.
Nuprime adapts the exclusive SRC chipset together with a Taiwanese IC design company, and in Stream-9, dual circuits are used.
