NuPrime IA-9XG - Stereo amplifier
NuPrime IA-9XG is a compact integrated stereo amplifier that combines two of NuPrime’s most innovative technologies: ODC (Only Distortion Cancellation) for extremely low distortion, and a Harmonic Generation circuit based on Class A transistors. A switch on the front panel lets you alternate between two completely different sound characteristics.
In f0 mode, the ODC circuit delivers exceptionally clean and neutral reproduction with just 0.0014% THD—ideal for studio monitoring or music with a wide dynamic range. 2f0 mode subtly adds harmonic overtones through the Class A circuit, producing a warmer, tube-like sound that suits vocal jazz, classical music, and relaxed listening.
The power section delivers 2 × 170W at 8 ohms and 2 × 200W at 4 ohms, with a maximum current capacity of 15A. The power supply is a dual-phase interleaved GaN PFC circuit with active noise cancellation (ANC) rated at 600W—performance comparable to high-end linear power supplies but in a fraction of the size. Two independent GaN power blocks form a symmetrical dual supply for optimal drive of the differential circuits.
The input section includes an MM phono input with adjustable capacitance (100/220/320 pF) and impedance (32k/47k/100k ohms), balanced XLR, two RCA inputs, and trigger in/out for system control. The phono stage is based on a 2-stage RIAA circuit with NJR MUSES8820 op-amps for an accurate response and low distortion. The volume is digitally controlled in 99 steps through an analog circuit with memory upon power-off.
All of this is housed in a chassis measuring 61 × 235 × 281 mm (H × W × D)—one of the most compact high-performance integrated amplifiers on the market.
