NuPrime Evolution Two-SE - Mono power amplifier
NuPrime Evolution Two-SE is a reference-class monoblock power amplifier delivering 300 watts into 8 ohms and 600 watts into 4 ohms. It is an amplifier that rivals the finest Class A designs, while offering the power and efficiency advantages of Class D technology. Two units are required for a complete stereo setup.
At its heart is NuPrime's ODC technology (Only Distortion Cancellation). Instead of a conventional feedback loop that inverts the output signal, ODC picks up the error signal directly from the MOSFET circuits and output filter. The Two-SE also features an enhanced ODC stage that makes it ten times more resistant to interference than its predecessor, the Evolution Two.
The result is distortion levels of 0.001% THD+N at 5 watts and 0.002% all the way up to 200 watts. Military-grade feedback resistors with a 15 ppm temperature coefficient, new Class D MOSFETs with triple current capacity and 2-ohm tolerance, and a precision-machined heat-sink block made of aviation-grade aluminum combine to deliver cleaner, more refined reproduction. The soundstage is warm and natural, with a Class A character in the midrange, yet offers complete control over even the most power-hungry speaker systems.
