NuPrime Evolution Stream – Music server with Roon Core, up to DSD512
NuPrime Evolution Stream brings the entire digital system together in one place. With a built-in Roon Core, it becomes the hub of your setup: streaming services, local music files, and a separate DAC or player are connected, and you control everything directly from your phone.
As a Roon Core, it manages your entire library and handles DSP conversion independently, without placing any burden on the rest of the chain. In addition to Roon, it also functions as a bridge and supports Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, DLNA, and Signalyst, so all the major services are available from the start.
The audio path is a pure digital transport. The USB output supports PCM up to 768kHz/32-bit and DSD512, and with Roon DSP you can transcode to DSD256 directly in the server. Two gigabit-class network ports provide a dedicated connection to the player (such as the Stream-9) without sharing bandwidth with the rest of the network.
The clock synchronization is seriously well engineered. Each network port has its own TCXO oscillator, and there is an input for an external 10MHz clock with a built-in switch between the internal and external clocks. This keeps jitter and latency low enough to be audible in the reproduction.
Inside is a quad-core Intel processor, 32GB of low-power DDR4, and a 250GB SSD optimized for VitOS. EMI filtering and separate power regulation keep noise at bay. If you need a larger library, connect external storage via the high-current USB ports.
Control is handled through the VitOS Manager app for iOS or Android, and the server can feed up to ten players simultaneously.
