NuPrime AMG HPA
- The input stage uses JFET with ultra-high bandwidth and low noise for 1MΩ input impedance. The gain circuit uses a Single-Ended, Non-Negative Feedback Class A module for wide frequency bandwidth and pristine second-order harmonics.
- Fully balanced amplification consisting of independent circuits for input, volume, gain, and power output stages. The volume control uses two MUSES72320 to achieve fully balanced volume adjustment with 100 levels (0-99). This is the best volume control Nuprime has installed in a product and likely the best for any headphone amplifier.
- A custom R-Core transformer and 26000uF filter capacitors used in the power supply ensure that the circuits are supplied with fast and stable current.
- In addition to the headphone outputs, the AMG HPA also has 2 sets of (XLR and RCA) analog outputs where it can be used as a reference-level preamplifier with 1MΩ inputs.
