Marantz Model 30
Marantz Model 30 is an exceptionally pleasant and award-winning stereo amplifier from the Marantz Premium range. Eisa named the amplifier along with the matching SACD/CD player as the stereo system of the year, and in Ljud&Bild magazine they described the amplifier as "stunningly beautiful" with build quality that surpasses most. This is a tribute to Marantz for their first integrated amplifier, Model Thirty, which debuted on the market in 1970. The amplifier is equipped with Marantz's own HDAM circuits and combines them with class D amplifier modules from Hypex to deliver an impressive 100 watts per channel at 8 ohms.
The construction is entirely analog, and this design philosophy is a tribute to the legacy of former chief designer Ken Ishiwata. The digital components are found in the matching SACD 30n player, which also features a top-class integrated RIAA stage supporting both MM and MC.
