Marantz MM8077 is a 7-channel power amplifier with presence, both in terms of sound and design.
MM8077 delivers a total of 7x150 Watts (RMS). XLR and RCA connections on all channels. Constructed with Marantz Current Feedback and HDAM technologies, and with a robust toroidal transformer as the foundation and specially designed high-class components. Copper-plated chassis provides maximum shielding.
The Current Feedback technology in harmony with HDAM (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Modules) allows the sound to bloom to its full potential. Marantz's proprietary Current Feedback is based on achieving a wide bandwidth and ultra-fast reproduction by having a limited impedance that results in very low phase shifts. By minimizing phase compensation through negative feedback, excellent transient reproduction is achieved. The technology also integrates Marantz HDAM circuits with high-quality, discrete components to further enhance the listening experience with precise and detailed sound. Discrete components instead of cheap, ready-made IC circuits. These HDAMs perform the same function as OP amplifiers but outperform regular IC OP amplifiers, resulting in a much more dynamic, precise, and detailed sound. These are an integral part of the Current Feedback technology.
