The Marantz AV8805A is a versatile preamplifier that redefines the experience of audiophile home theater and music listening. Marantz AV8805A is designed to deliver uncompromising music and movie playback. The extremely robust chassis serves as a stable foundation for the circuit boards that handle the sensitive audio signal and eliminate unwanted vibrations that can affect the sound. A powerful, oversized toroidal transformer, mounted on a 5 mm thick aluminum base for extra rigidity. Copper plating on the chassis ensures optimal grounding and significantly improves the signal-to-noise ratio. A total of 17 individual HDAM modules are used to maximize channel separation and deliver reference-class audio performance. All of this is enclosed by a solid, three-part lid that completes its design.
