Improvements in the SE special edition (AMG STA-SE vs AMG STA)
- The improved Class D circuit reduces MOSFET temperature by 30% during high-speed operation above 750KHZ (more accurate PWM waveform), improving energy efficiency and ensuring sonic stability. In terms of sound performance, this results in a more relaxed and natural presentation.
- By using ultra-high-precision resistors with a minimal error margin of 1/1000, the system exhibits extremely low drift with a temperature coefficient of only 15 parts per million. In general, it is unusual for amplifiers in this price range to use such high-precision components. This ensures that negative-feedback sampling is not affected by external temperature variations and environmental factors, improving the precision and level of detail in music reproduction. The result is a clearer presentation of musical details.
- A newly developed and fine-tuned secondary negative-feedback circuit improves detail and precision in the soundstage, providing sharper sonic contours and improved spatial positioning.
