Supra Sword Excalibur IXLR Rhodium is a special version of Sword-IXLR with Rhodium plated connectors.
Supra's absolute best signal cable with Rhodium plated XLR connectors. Plating with Rhodium is a completely different process than gold plating. Gold plating is a relatively simple process while Rhodium plating is difficult and costly, but also provides better conductor properties. The cable is based on the same patented principle as all Sword cables, a low inductive bifilar wound Litz construction. This concept provides low interference absorption and, together with our most efficient foil shield, provides very good protection against electric and magnetic fields. As with its predecessor, the phase-shifting reactance is extremely small, leaving only a very low, phase-linear resistance that allows all sounds to be exactly as intended during recording, mixing and mastering.
The design also virtually extinguishes capacitance, resulting in an ultra-fast signal cable with total dynamics and full transparency. The pitch-black background reveals every micro detail, just like cable should. Sword conveys the music precisely, not removing anything, adding, changing or amplifying. Listen & enjoy. Lots of fun!
Sword is carefully assembled by Supra's experienced installers in Ljungskile, Sweden. Scaling, stripping of Litz wire, soldering and

A word about the cable structure

Each conductor contains twelve individually varnish-insulated strands in two layers. The six strands of the inner layer are spun in one direction at a steep pitch to be exactly the same length as the six strands of the outer layer spun in the other direction. The layers are separated by a PE insulation, the inner layer spun around a fiberglass core for mechanical stability. At the top, separately shielded with our fine foil screen, which doesn't let interference taint the signal. The result is a lightning-fast, phase-correct cable that lets the signal pass through without being affected in any way.

Regarding speakers, be aware that speakers may need a long recording time to come into their own. After a couple of hours you can usually get a taste of what to expect, but a speaker deserves 100h+ before serious listening. The speakers we sell with ribbon tweeters need several hundred hours before they start to sing. So feel free to leave the speakers on around the clock so you can quickly accumulate hours.
