The CDT-10 is completely redesigned compared to the CDT-8 but they have one thing in common, the laser and the drive itself as it is top class, but everything else is completely new. New circuit with filtering technology borrowed from Evolution, better shielding, more delicate handling of signal, thus finer circuits, minimization of vibration, etc.

Like the CDT-8, it can upsample the signal to 768kHz or DoP256. Outputs: coax, optical, aes/ebu and hdmi i2s.

  

The NuPrime CDT-10 is the ultimate professional music CD transport with powerful DSP-based decoder that provides all Red Book error-correction capabilities with master-clock control of the entire decoding system, thus lowering jitter significantly. The transport’s single speed minimizes vibration and unbalanced discs. A selectable sampling rate converter (SRC) up samples the CD format to higher sampling rate with ultra-low jitter and distortion.

 

 

CDT-10 Design Philosophy & CDT-8 Pro Comparison

CDT-10 extends the exceptional digital design of CDT-8 Pro with enhanced AC noise filter (inherited from Evolution DAC) and power circuit. But to be considered as the ultimate CD transport, CDT-10 design philosophy is to minimize every possible mechanical vibration. The CDT-10 chassis design has similar structural integrity as a submarine (tubular structure with vertical & longitudinal rigidness) evenly distribute vibration. The transport mechanism is further sandwiched with aluminum plates to reduce vibration.

Regarding speakers, be aware that speakers may need a long recording time to come into their own. After a couple of hours you can usually get a taste of what to expect, but a speaker deserves 100h+ before serious listening. The speakers we sell with ribbon tweeters need several hundred hours before they start to sing. So feel free to leave the speakers on around the clock so you can quickly accumulate hours.

Lamp warranty

If the lamp for your projector breaks during the first 12 months, or the first 1000 hours (whichever comes first), you will receive a new lamp free of charge. If the manufacturer has a more generous warranty, it applies.
